So you are starting to realize you (and every other grad students) are
getting screwed over, and you are a physical threat (can knock down
your entire PhD committee with a single punch). With these two things
going for you, if you don't get your PhD within 3 months, you have
only yourself to blame.
I'm trying to pull myself back into research/writing mode, but right
now I can't even produce a line of fanfic.
Yes, I've been totally screwed over. I don't know if I mentioned this,
but my advisors are refusing to write me letters of recommendation for
jobs until I get my doctorate in hand. There was this PERFECT job for
me in Kansas that I wanted SO badly, and I got dicked out of that. So
I just want the letters after my name and to drive on at this point.
