Glad you asked ~J (Congrats, by the
way! And make sure she stays away from the resin dust when you are making
the kits! Toxic stuff.)
I stumbled upon this site that I think
might be of interest to you:
http://gkjapan.com/index.php?
Check it out.
As for the modeling compound, it's poly
putty, much like Bondo that the use on cars. You can get really high on
that stuff if you are not careful. I almost cut my fingers off years ago
without realizing that the stuff was so strong.
What kits do you have?
Gus
Oh my, good advice on the dust, thank
you! I had no idea it was that bad....
Well I have a 1/144 Nightingale, a 1/6
Scale RX-78 Gundam-Girl, a large scale Big-O kit, a JUMBO scale Giant Robo
kit and I believe Takkong the Oil Monster from Ultraman Jack and the
funny-red-moster with Skeletal hands that Red-King always beats-up-on from the
original Ultraman.
Yeah, it looks like I will be doing this in
the garage....
Thanks though for the link and advice...and
thanks everyone for the tips!
~J
