Welcome back, have you been on some kind of expedition?

If padding the lesser MS with extra gimmicks and price tag is
necessary to get them to the store shelves, I'd take it.

Well won't that inflate the price tag as well?  ;)   Anyway, it's not
out of the question for a future variant kit, but Topp may not want to
touch this weapon...

IIRC, Old Zaku from 1979-80 had no gimmick at all.  Very soon after
(definitely before Zeta in 1985) Zaku became Zaku II and Old Zaku
became Zaku I; and at some (much later) point Zaku I began to have
weapons.  The usual suspects are: Topp's Zaku I in 08MST, MG variant
kits (particularly Black Trinity version and Ramba version) and games.
Won't surprise me at all if Zaku I first had weapons (machine gun?)
in a SD game, any gamer can answer that?  Or perhaps FvZ arcade game.

Oh... hey... the heat hawk is also included:

But ehh... doesn't the proportion looks rather 1970s to you?  UGH

OTOH... this is the actual Zaku I bazooka!  The MG Zaku I kits all had
Zaku II bazookas.  IIRC.
