(actually the absolute worst DVD player I've ever used is my DVD recorder, it works great as a poor man's TiVo and DVD recorder, but as a player it's worse than the PS2) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I haven't had any problem with the Xbox 360 DVD player and I absolutely love its Media Hub functionality. I can understand people not liking the old Xbox because it did tend to scratch disks for many people from what I have heard.
