On the other hand, I notice that periodically there will be a new run of Macross Valkyries in new scales (1/60th, 1/48th) which are really well done but that's all you get. They're hard to find? Why? Some guys I know were trying to buy one or two of *each* of the expensive 1/48th versions (I got a Folker one and also a FAST pack upgrade). But all you get is the Rick version, the skull squadron version, the trainer, maybe the standard brown one. No Destroids!! WTF? Neither of the alien armor suits, no Glaugs, it's like they hate money! It would be *so* cool for them to come out with all the key suits and mecha in the same scale and also sell a cool diorama of a repair bay or launch bay or something.

I feel exactly the same way. While I am glad they released a toy for the Queadluun Rau, my favorite Macross mech of all time, I wish they would release a TV version too. Personally I have held off on getting one because I really could care less about the DYRL versions. And I can't see why they haven't released anything other than Valkyries. I think in a perfect world we would get MG Quality Destroids, a large size MG quality fully transformable SDF-1, Regults, Glaugs, etc. I would buy all of them. I have been tempted to get a 1/48 scale Valk, but I have held off because of issues with the nose cone that I had heard about.
