It's been noted by several sources that the US toy market is on the decline,
due to gadgets like cellphones and games consoles alongside kids
increasingly wanting to look older younger. Various major toy stores are
having to close down branches, including Toys R Us. Bandai have mentioned it
as one of the many reasons the MSiA line was pulled- an already weak line in
a weakening market.

I personally think a big problem is all this jumping between the
timelines. If MSG had worked we'd probably have seen a steady chain of UC
releases but all this AC to UC to FC to SD to CE just makes things
confusing for people.

I think they do want our money. But unfortunately they also want the

of other consumers who don't want to give it to them. While we may be a
vocal group we are also a small group. I find the best way to introduce
newbies to Gundam is to get them to actually try building HGUC, or
better,
kits. They like the feeling of accomplishment they get when putting
together a well designed and engineered kit. Putting together one of
those
No Grade G Gundam kits, or Seed kits, leaves them unimpressed.
