Not as long as Bandai keeps releasing updated versions. I won't be
shocked
if we see Gelgoog Ver 2, Agg, Zeong ver kai, etc. They will find a way
to
milk it like they always have.
Agree. We'll never know what Bandai will come out next after milking out
HGUC. Ver 2, Ver Ka, Ver ??? Advance HGUC? Extended HGUC?
They are already coming out with so many limited version HGUC recently. But
the coating is not as attractive as the chrome coating last time.
As for what would bring me back to mecha hobby? Well simple, ditch
injection kits and give us robot kits! Lego is putting out Mindstorm
II which should be pretty cool. But I want more: bi-/quad-pedal
walker, onboard microcontroller with a microdrive, CCD camera(s),
stereo mics and at least IEEE 802.11a wireless connectivity.
So have you bought the R/C Zakus, Haro, Guntank? That's the closest from
Gundam so far.
Mindstorm II looks impressive, but for the price factor....
Tech toys comes with big price tag, and it doesn't seems to go well since
even Sony closed down its cult status AIBO department.
