I can't remember if it is here that I saw it...but didn't Bandai produce something like this recently to show off the level of detail in small scale that their patented system injection machines can achieve?  I think it was a tiny 1/400 scale gundam or something....
 
Other than that, very cool!  Painting that would require skills like the guys who write the pledge of allegiance on a grain of rice...there used to me a Chinese guy at a kiosk in our local mall who did that  ;)


1/400 scale MSs are easy -- it's the Gundam Collection. In EX series the battle ships often comes with the same scale MSs... in 1/1700 scale. But now this is a 1/400 human figure (I don't want to say pilot)... so it's about 1/20 of the 1/400 GC MSs... or if it's a MS, 1/8000 scale.
