I initially like Sentinel when it first came out, enjoying all the detail buildup of the models in Model Graphix's pages. Things like S-Gundam's shoulders and esp. EX-S ("excess") even poke fun of its own design. But when these elements becomes norm and all the MSs are "excess"-ive, with everything looks snap-on, I lean back to my original love of good form factor design like Z MSs (esp. Fujita's work), or innovative like Turn As, that Syd Mead design with many interesting lines and intersections.

I like the Zudah also! I like the aesthetic of it, particularly within the genre of Zeon Monoeyes, however after watching it, I can't shake that it was kind of an anachronism...the suit was too advanced-looking for the time period. Perhaps I missed something drastic in the translation, however as much as I like it, to me it doesn't feel like it "fits" the time-period. This is something I would expect to see in AoZ or later...ahhh maybe it is just me...

Call me sentimental, but I enjoy the older katoki-ish pile-more-boosters-and-big-guns on a Gundam...the more absurd the better. I love seeing a huge pile of junk like the Dendrobium or Deep Striker or EX-S...loaded with fuel tanks and ordinance...with a tiny little Gundam head sticking out of the middle.
