I think Gundam major stories are close to being played out. The war(s)
can only occur through so many years out of the whole timeline. But
there is rich ground for a multitude of side stories (0080, 0083, 08th
MS Team). Stories about individual units, small battles, remote
locations. Those stories I'd love to see more of. What I think is
certainly played out is re-imagining and recycling the Gundam concept in
alternate universes. How many times (Gundam X, Gundam Wing, Gundam
Seed) can you tell a slightly recooked version of the same original story?
