Well, if we're going to be recommending alternatives, of course there's
Tamiya and Testors, but Apple Barrel and Folk Art are good, too (and a great
value!).

You could try Citadel Paints, they are pretty much the
best acrylic paints on the market for models. Sunburst
Yellow would pretty much solve your problems.
