I took a quick look at the instructions, and other pictures, up at Hobby
Search.

PROS
- The back shoulder plates are attached to the torso, but it appears that
they can swivel forward and backward.
- It appears to follow the "Version 2" standard of having an internal frame
that can be displayed without the external armor.
- The shield is very well detailed
- The shoulder armor pieces are connected to the back plates, but not with
hinges like the older kit.
- The storage compartments can slide in and out and fit the cow.
- It appears to be extremely poseable.
- The seat can shift for the core fighter transformation.
- It appears that the hatches are actually opened via a key that is inserted
in the back. If this is correct it shouldn't be a floppiness problem.
- The Action Stands mount in the back so there is no odd piece covering a
hole in the crotch.

CONS
- To be honest I am not thrilled about the transformed Core Fighter. I
actually prefer the separate Core Fighter that came with the original 1/100
kit. The bland flat wings just ruin it for me on the MG kit. Technically
the skirt wings match the original Syd Mead painting better. I like the
wings a lot in MS mode, but not for the Core Fighter.
- It is missing the beam spear. IIRC this was in the anime. That being
said you can just borrow the spear from the MG RX-78-2.
- The pilot is molded into the cockpit. Painting will be a pain. IIRC the
only other possible occurrences of a pilot molded into the cockpit in the MG
line would be the GP-01 kits, the ZZ Kits, and the S-Gundam kits. It was
probably unavoidable though to accommodate the rotating cockpit for the Core
Fighter.
- The Action stands mount in the back so there could be repercussions for
the poseability.

All in all this is a must have kit for me. I have come to love the Turn A
Gundam design and minor quibbles aside this is near perfect.
