I was looking at some more detailed pictures of the MG Turn A Gundam recently when something caught my eye. I noticed that there are opening panels on the back for the missile tubes as well as the obvious panels on the front. I had previously always written them off to just visual aesthetics rather then any functional purpose.
Was the Turn A originally designed to launch missiles from it's the chest or was this a "mistake" made by the original design team because they knew that Tomino wanted the Turn A to store the nukes in its chest?
