Well...   I seem to remember some vaguely similar comments being thrown around by critics of the US invasion of Iraq a few years ago.  And I'd really rather not risk starting up THAT debate on this list...   Also, imo Wing already started out as a similar sort of idea - i.e. five super soldiers and super mobile suits fighting to stop the evil military-industrial complex conspiracy.  So I'd rather take some time and see how they're planning on developing this one before debating the potential silliness of the situation.  Four guys and a support ship running around blowing stuff up doesn't sound like much of a way to stop war.  Presumeably Celestial  Being has more at its disposal than just that, and I'd rather get a feel for the situation within the series before I start discussing the pros and cons of their philosophy.   So, two reasons why I've kept my distance from the topic.   Incidentally, someone provided what they claimed was a summary of the first episode over at the DP9 forum.  Unfortunately it sounds like we're not going to find out anything we don't already know about CB  (and the obvious world setting-wide reaction) during the first episode.       junior ---------[ Received Mail Content ]---------- Subject : Re: [gundam] Gundam 00 Trailer Date : Mon, 1 Oct 2007 15:40:49 -0400 From : "Dr. Core" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To : list@gundam.com I am surprised no one follow up on the political theme
