Don't forget that they are also releasing a Zaku II F ver. 2. I can't tell any real differences between that and the J ver. 2. IIRC isn't the only real change the leg thrusters? If so then they are really bending people over to charge them for a whole new kit that could've been released as an add-on or even as a choose your own variant Zaku II kit.
I actually love almost all of the Gundam 00 MS designs. The only one that really bugs me is the Kyrios and that is only because I think the Knee Wings are ridiculously cumbersome. I can just see Alleljuah in the midst of battle swing a beam saber around to block an attack and accidentally cut them off. I actually bit the bullet and ordered a 1/60 Exia because I love the design so much. As far as Seed the ONLY design I actually liked was the Manga Astrays. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dr. Core Sent: Friday, February 15, 2008 10:50 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [gundam] MotM Jan-Mar 08 Reviving the comatose Model of the Month thread... MG Zaku Minelayer: it's the first "new" MG in a while right? Nice! HGUC Nu Gundam: HGUC still lives, nice! G00 models: with Gundams/Throne Gundams, Flags and Tierens; the line up of merchandise is expanding very quickly. I kind of like that Flags and Tierens are each evolving a unique line of variants. I still think they are ALL ugly, but it's very nice that they managed to invent lots of variants while still maintaining a realistic family tree. No monster of the week feel in this series. For the FIRST time in Gundam history. Am I missing something? Ali al Sashes' MS hasn't been released yet. In fact, I don't see any AEU models/toys. What's going on? GN Arms/Exia: (too bad, you have just been spoiled!) I guess this is the answer to Throne Gundams. Looks fine without the Exia. HCMP Tieren: converts to the artillery mode. Once again the HG model is trumped by toys. Seed models: I'm amazed Bandai is still cranking them out, in direct competition with G00, Sangokuden and Unicorn, Bandai's got to be very pleased with the series return on inverstment. -- Dr. Core -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
