Taft and all,

  Well Taft, what can be done is to register an official contest to the
contract that the ICANN is entering into with the NIST, would be one step,
all be a temporary one.  Another step would be to get a petition up to send
to the NTIA protesting the thus far actions that the ICANN is taking
and considering taking based on their current public statements.
What do you think of these for starters?  >;)  There is much more that
could also be done, but they would be much more drastic and of a
legal nature of course.  Joint class action anyone?
