well, I blocked the list itself from autoresponses, but someone, in their
infinite wisdom referred to the poster as the "on behalf of the neat guy
posting" instead of the list itself: thus making it impossible to block
autoresponses.

But, ultimately, I really hope that you all have an agenda refuting
monopoly.

Yea, that did happen, accidentally: the weird way that these lists worked
as far as reply addresses to an automatic responder made me have to disable
my autoresponder. But I really did not appreciate ignorant threats that
somebody was going to turn me in to the attorney general's office of the
state of Washington, just because my auto responder replied to a poorly set
up list mailer, after I had taken numerous efforts to prevent such an event
from happening.
