I would put it slightly different,
I would like to see some registration protocol reduced to writing as
"Best Practice" (DNSO-RFC0001 :-)-O) and an implementation offered
under GNU copyleft or such to all (cc)TLDs (free of charge).
Would solve one of my old beefs, support for Emerging Registries and
help the Registrars to register in *ANY* TLD.
