Actually, I came to this conclusion when I first heard of the mtv.com
case.  It was posted to misc.legal.moderated about five years ago.  I
actually was a regular visitor to the mtv.com site, even before the
lawsuit, and had opportunity to exchange some email with Adam Curry
regarding its contents.

My initial reaction was that this would be just the first of many such
legal battles.
