  Very good question that Ellen poses here.  This would also certainly
apply to Mike Roberts most especially.  I would also agree with Ellen's
suggested resolution as well at a minimum.  A more proper approach
to this COI concern would be for them to volunteer to step down
from the board all together.

  Good point here Ellen.  Most of the ICANN Interim Board members
are terribly lacking in experience to make any decisions, and really these
decisions should be made by the Membership, not by the ICANN
Interim Board anyway.  This has been systemic poor direction of the
ICANN Interim Board, and is as you indicate Ellen, is in stark contrast
the the requirements of the White Paper.  Using the term "Troubling"
is a gross understatement.
