That's going a wee bit too far, IMHO. While Bob's style may be annoying to
those who can't appreciate the humor, the underlying criticism is not
unfounded. Many others have levelled similar barbs at the Berkman Center
from time to time, and I, for one, have a very clear memory of the feeling
against them at the time of the abandoned wrap-up.
As to their current efforts, they have been superficial so far and rather
irritating. All these academic questions they pose, which sound like an exam
in Internet Politics 101 for the spoiled students of Charlestown, are
insulting to people who are struggling, and not often winning, in a fight
for things that are important to them. I'm happy Bob sends those posts
because they make me laugh and relieve the tension,
some of which is produced by the Berkman quiz itself.
