I might remind you that the ISOC conducts on-line election every year. Chew
on it and then proceed to tell me it ain't working. I'm sure the ISOC would
love to hear about it. (I just got my ISOC voter notifications)

We are talking DNSO here, not ICANN. ICANN has to include *everyone on the
planet*. But not the DNSO. Especially not for controlling a Names Council.
You want a vote, then buy a domain name ($70US at your friendly
neighborhood InterNIC, at http://rs.internic.net).
I also agree with Joop, no proxies. With electronic voting, who needs 'em
anyway.
