Not necessarily Jim. Respectfully, we disagree with you here to the
extent that another group can pick up where the ICANN left off and
undo several mistakes and problems that the current ICANN "Initial"
and Interim Board has created if well financed and they are folks
that have a deep and broad understanding of the current internet
situation, as we believe should have been done in the first place.
I personally think if you think about this a moment you would likely
see our point here.

How true! And this can be laid squarely at the feet of primarily three
of the ICANN's staff and BoD members, namely Mike Roberts,
Esther Dyson, and Joe Simms.
As a side note here, according to Gordon Cook, Mike Roberts
either was a USN Captain or is a reserve (USNR) Captain. If so
as a retired USMCR Col. I for one would like to say directly
to Mike Roberts, you sir, are a disgrace to the Navy and the
uniform you either once wore, or do so on occasion!!!

Agreed completely here Jim. However it is there is now sufficient
evidence that the ICON "Initial" and Interim Board is not and will not
do this with the personnel it currently has. SO, as one countryman of yours
once said, "throw the rascals out".

It was the process in which the ICON "Initial" and Interim Board was
SELECTED, as you correctly point out that has caused or been at the
root (No pun intended) of the problem. This process should have been
handled as we originally suggested, that being the ICON "Initial"
and Interim board should have been ELECTED.
