Great visualization tags, but "dwarf" is a hard one
to pin on AOL and France Telecom. These folks and
their partners are huge, have major bucks, and own a
lot of customers - not to mention Verio and other
significant providers in the next group of registrars.
Looks to me like the NSI David against the telco/ISP
Goliaths. Indeed, you may want the NSI Registrar
around to provide some real competition for these
guys.
Then you have to add all the so-called country TLDs
going entrepreneurial or remain monopolies in their
markets, and the new gTLDs that will emerge. It's
not apparent that anyone will be Godzilla in the market.
