Mark, OSI busting is like the "eternal vigilance in the pursuit of liberty" admonition. OSI is a state of mind that has its place; but when applied to chaotic phenomena doesn't work and impedes the phenomena at some level. To move away from abstractions - what is happening here with the ICANN(GAC) is the OSI types attempting to apply their failed models and institutional schemes to the Internet. Why do you think they mandated 7 constituency groups. :-) --tony
