One of the two feedbacks sez:

It is a little too altruistic to think that something as new as internet could
possibly progress in the open fashion it has without strong champions such as
Esther. The argument made here woud suggest that there ought to be no interaction
by anyone involved in at least one other thing ... a surefire recipe for
chaos and zero learning. Overlay this with the rules which would be required
to manage such an environment, and the resultant mess would closely resemble
the "managed economies" which we saw behind the Iron Curtain and we all know
how successful they were.
