This one I can say, try again in a few minutes. One thing I noticed about
it is changes people make to their records from bulkregister are (intended
to be...) reflected in their corresponding whois record in real time.

But, whenever you make the change, my guess is their whois server does
some sort of rehash or reload that causes it so refuse connections for
a few minutes. Then it comes back. This would hopefully be fixed as
they get busier since eventually it will be statistically assured someone
is always making a change to a whois record on their site.

But, you said it, Big Mess.

P.S. The other thing that bugs me about whois.alabanza.com is they don't
list nameservers at all, kind of a drag cause I have to go *back* to
the registry whois to see them for those domains.
