When I offered to host the LUG at a former employer, I had moved it to another day so as not to conflict with Tuesday (I've been shooting pool on that night for going on 10 years). I can walk away from Tuesday every now and then, but not often....I only get 1 chance a week to not be a geek :-P >> I cannot talk on JTAGs.....as I have not used them. > > Not familiar This serial connections to BIOS.... > >> If I bricked a router that bad, it's now a door stop. > > Not sure I would demo or present on bricking, probably skip that :) The first ShmooCon Nathan and I smashed a WRT54G on stage.....can be arranged :-P > >> I can go over OpenWRT and customizing it, as well as using DDWRT. > > That would be great :-) > >> I also had gotten into some interesting compiling, and MIPS hardware >> if anyone is interested (William, I have a couple of Cobalt 1s and 2s >> I've done customs compiling on ;-)). > > Can't you do cross compiling for some of that? Could, yes....but how geeky is it to buy 15 year old hardware, load a modern OS on it, and compile another modern OS on it :-D. Side note, My RAQ3 is still running great. > > Though a client never did anything with a Cube I was trying to get > donated to you. Still might be available, I think it's a 3 or 4, not > sure.
