Marshall, did you also miss Kyle's presentations the last two months on
cloud computing?  Sounds like a nice fit for you guys using Amazon Web
Services.  S3 for your file storage.  EC2 for your Windows and/or Linux
instances.  No more trips (and possible accidents) to the Colo necessary.
Wonder if Amazon can use that as a selling point?   :)

My IT Director got in a wreck on the way to our Colo after lunch - not his
fault thankfully and all are OK. One node of our Win2k3 file server cluster
died from a bad backplane - the cluster serves roaming profiles and home
folders for Windows/Citrix and a company wide shared drive. I would love to
move this clusters services to a Linux box, but am unsure how to integrate
it - is it safe to assume Samba? 4 or 3? Anything to watch out for? TIA!
