What testing? Go view the page you just edited/modified. That seems like pure laziness and stupidity. A simple view of the page after modifications would easily reveal the mistake. Without having to require any further processes, which can't hurt to have in place either way. Its just bad practices all around. Sensitive information in the page. No viewing after editing. Editing pages in production rather than in a development environment, etc. Makes one wonder what other bad practices them or others have in place. But who edits a web page and never views it. That is just stupidity. Much less doing so directly in production, again without viewing. Someone does not deserve to have a job, or is not well paid at all. It simply might be a reflection of you get what you pay for, or not. Though this is surely no way to go about a pay increase, more like a sure way to get fired and never re-hired in IT or at least coding :) -- William L.
