They offer a nifty 'core' install with nothing but OS, so you can very
easily roll your own custom VM. Instead of spending the time installing
Ubuntu server, patching and tweaking it, then installing your software app,
I have gotten in the (bad) habit of grabbing their core image and then
installing the app on top.

My next side project is to spin up a Core VM, install Asterisk and hook it
up to my Google Voice.
