You know what they mean man. They want
someone with at least 3 years of CF who has experience with 7. An HR person isn’t
going to know how best to word it…

Cold Fusion Developer
This position offers telecommuting. Developer would be required to
work in Utah for first 60 days of contract to get training with
existing developers.
Following training period, travel back to Utah will be required
periodically throughout the duration of the contract.
Responsibilities:
Serve as an application developer for web applications on a
development team to support the company's internal and external web
presence on a global basis. These responsibilities include:
* Drive the gathering of business requirements
* Develop technical specifications to achieve business requirements
* Provide feasibility input to web page mockups
* Create and maintain application architectures
* Develop and unit test code for applications for both company
projects and system maintenance processes
* Conduct application maintenance releases and other development initiatives
* Create and maintain application documentation (specifications,
detailed designs, etc)
* Serve as point of contact for technical impact analysis for web applications
* Serve as quality check for other developer's code and documentation
* Support IT management in maintaining an Operational Excellence environment
Requirements:
* B.A. / B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent
* Significant participation in a development role of at least three
(3) successful large web application initiatives
* Three (3) years experience in web development role supporting both
application maintenance activities as well as application development
initiatives
* Three (3) years Coldfusion 7.0
* Three (3) years My SQL experience
* Three (3) years _javascript_ experience
* Ability to work independently
* Property and Casualty Insurance industry experience a plus.
Contract Length:
* 6 - 12 months
This is a full time, contract position with our client in the south
suburbs of Salt Lake City Utah.
