The speed of using large forms has often kept me from using them.  From what I understand, the Flash Forms use the old Flex 1.5 (or is it 1.0?) engine, which is remarkably slower than 2.0.   I am sure this is something that will change in Scorpio, but for now I am not aware of any way to improve it.

Not loaded heavily with styles or graphics.
 
If you would like to view a sample you can go to http://www.childrensparade.com/vol_form.cfm and experience how slow it is. Problem is people think that the page is blank and keep refreshing the page which just makes the problem worse. We built the same form in Flex and it loads fine, but the client didn't want to force the user to download Falsh Player 9
