We always use the following three lines in our application.cfm or
similar to prevent CF pages from being cached:

<CFHEADER NAME="Expires" VALUE="Tue, 01 Jan 1985 00:00:01 GMT">
<CFHEADER NAME="Pragma" VALUE="no-cache">
<CFHEADER NAME="cache-control" VALUE="no-cache, no-store,
must-revalidate">

If you want some pages to be cached you will want to put some logic
around these.

Subject: [DFW CFUG] Interent explorer Problem with Cached Page

Hi All,

I need some help. I have a problem such that when a super user goes
between pages of different (regular)users
in Interent explorer, IE6 caches the previous (user)page and does not
update with the new(user) requested page
previous cached page is dispalyed.

How can I force IE(in CF) to update the cached page OR is this some kind
of userPC/IE setting?

Regular users do not go between the pages of other users.

Reagrds
Ray
