Hey Joe,
One thing to consider that most people forget about is that depending on what you need to do, you might want to use RTF instead of Word docs....
RTF docs are ASCII files that can be read/written to directly using CF.... all depends on what you are trying to do, but I use this in one our apps to generate word compatible docs...
