it's pretty open to what you determine is correct. Especially with CF, there's no set standard. There are best practices docs out there for CF, but a lot of them contradict eachother. Just find a a standard that makes sense to you and stick with it and be happy you don't work for a company that wants to put 'tbl' in front of every table name in the db (this drives me crazy!)

One thing I would like to have others comment on was that Mike mentioned that he is very picky with his coding even down to the tabbing. Is there a single source for best practices or does everyone pick a way and try to stay with it?
