I'll second the tinymce vote - used fck before but have been a bit happier
with the performance / cross browser of tiny.

FCKEdit has some CF support; TinyMCE isn't bad either. (Both are pretty
cool)

If you plan on using spellchecking, you're looking at the easy way out (the
ieSpell plugin) or a php server side spell checking solution.
