Top of my head...if you have a field, description would be last updated, when a
staff makes a change to the profile that field is then updated to the current
date. I would then compare the last updated date with current date and if the
same fire off a notice in my action page.

Make sense?

Subject: [DFW CFUG] Notify of update

TO All,

Looking for all options, in general terms how would you notify someone that a
member profiles has been updated?

Scenario:
Member Profiles had been kept in a local Access DB and updated by internal
staff only. Now our members can update their profiles on the web site and we
want to keep the two in synch. We have thought about running our reports
against the web site DBs (MySQL) and maintain that one set of info, but until
we would redo that...

I was thinking of using <CFMAIL> and sending the entire profile back to the
internal staff, but I would rather just tell them of the changes that have been
made. I thought to query the profile once before the update is posted and then
compare that to the info being sent in the form scope but really was not sure
how to do that.

Open to suggestions.
