I should have mentioned that there is some .NET-only functionality with BD7 that is pretty cool too. If you start hunting, check out the functionality of the CachedUntilChanged attribute of cfquery. Pretty cool!

Kevin, there are some feature differences such as the ability to do threading with cfthread on BD7, the lack of ability of native Flex connectivity and report generation that is available with ColdFusion, and few other less significant differences. Another thing to keep in mind is that while the .NET version of BD is the most hyped, their JX version offers the same platform independence that ColdFusion does running as a J2EE application. You will find quite a number of blog entries out there that state the differences and offer opinions if you search a bit. In a related note, this morning we worked out an arrangement with New Atlanta and will be converting InstantSpot to the JX version of Blue Dragon.
