No sweat Matt. I knew I wouldn't be using the 1_1_1 directory, but just didn't know if I should have wwwroot\MachII\
or
wwwroot\docs\
wwwroot\filters\
wwwroot\framework\

yaddah, yaddah...

Thanks for clearing that up for me. Wow. To be answered by the guy that wrote the document in the first place... now that's service! ;o)

I'm looking forward to completing this quick start guide. After that which document would you suggest next? MachII Listeners? What makes the most sense?

Thanks heaps!
Chris

Hi Chris--under your web root you want to have a MachII directory, and
the contents of the MachII directory in there. So ignore the 1_1_1
stuff and just copy the MachII directory into your web root. Sorry for
the confusion.

Hi folks,

I've just now decided to download mach-ii and work through Matt
Woodward's quick start guide. In the installation section he says:

Unzip the framework to your web root. For example, on Windows the
default web root is
[DRIVE]:\Inetpub\wwwroot...

when I unzip the mach-ii zip I get two folders MachII_1_1_1 and
MachII_1_1_1/MachII.

The simple question is: do I put the contents of the MachII directory
into my webroot or do I put the MachII directory itself into my webroot?

Thanks. I'm looking forward to dipping my toe into the MachII swimming
pool. :o)
