You can download the sample app from http://mach-ii.info/ and see it in action.

It's an easy install, only need to do 3 things, Okay 4:
RTFM - readme.txt
Adjust the mach-ii.xml
Set up your datasource (in CF Admin)
Add a mapping (in CF Admin)
