I've got both, and I must say that I was a bit disappointed with the Lynda
stuff. They never covered how to connect to CF as the back end. Just about
every example used a web service for getting their data.

I have not however watched all of the Totaltraining DVD so I don't know if
they follow that same path. If they do, I'll be highly disappointed with them
as well, especially given how much money I shelled out for these two DVDs. Now
that I actually own a copy of FB2, I'll probably be watching the Totaltraining
DVD soon.

I'll blog about my experiences with it.

Lynda.com has about twice as much Flex/AS material. Has anybody every used
Lynda.com …. Is the material recommendable?

Are there any local training groups that have Flex/AS offerings?

  Thanks

Totaltrainging.com and lynda.com has some nice ones for a modest monthly fee.

 Thanks

  Thanks
