After visiting and talking with the Dallas Micro Center location this past Saturday, I am saded to say that its an non-started for this loctation usage, their rooms can only hold about an drozen (12) or so, people in their computer training lab classrooms. ;;; ((( 2. This one I think is an no brainer. Does Adobe still have its offices located within an Bank in Plano. Those Adobe offices are AC, hi speed interest, projector ready for meeting and presentations I would think. Since CF software is part of Adobe product lineup, wouldn't it be awesome if some member of the group had some pull/contacts with Adobe, and asked if Adobe would allow the group to use one of their rooms for the groups monthly meeting. YOU WOULD THINK THAT ADOBE WOULD BE MORE THAN GLAD TO ALLOW GROUPS TO USE THEIR OFFICES, TO PROMOTE SALES OF THEIR PRODUCTS TO THE GROUP!! 3. With regards to the Saturday PC Presentation Day, (Second & Third -Saturday Sessions), after some feedback from some other SIG members who attend those sessions, you might want to look into the possible of using this event/location. considering all the extras that it has to offer!! 4. On the group lunch front, I have this idea that might solve an lot of problems and benefit the group as an whole. Tom at GeekMeet holds monthly networking/mixers at various locations throughtout the Greater DFW area, usually the 3 week of the month. Since GeekMeet arranges for the event locations, as well as, pricing for food and drinks to. Would the group to open to holding their lunchs at an GeekMeet event instead?? If the group is still interested in this idea, I have contacted Tom for some follow up suggestions and feedback, and will keep you all posted on this matter. 5. Also, would the person who posted information about the meeting location that would allow non-profits to meet, would you please Cut & Paste that posting, or post the achieve site link URL. Thanks for the folllow up in regards to this matter. Just an few additional suggestions, feedback welcome.
