Tom,

For the last 2 years I have been working on contracts remotely from my home.
Prior to that I worked in cubicles for Bank One (now Chase Bank), a small
manufacturing firm, MCI and Microsoft. That covers over 10 years in
cubicles. Hope that helps.

Subject: [DFW CFUG] Informal poll on working conditions

Hi all,

My entire group back in California is being moved to a new 'temporary'
location in a building about 5 miles from the other buildings in our campus.
Even worse, they will be losing their offices and moving into cubicles
though they will have doors. Needless to say, a number of folks are not
real happy about their new home.

I am curious about most folks working conditions. If you have a sec will
you respond with how many of you work in the following:

1. Office with door
2. Cubicle
3. Open room - no privacy
4. Remote

Thanks in advance for your replies to my informal poll and I will share the
tabulated results with the group.
