Hello everyone, I'm using the latest PfSense with the simplest setup (WAN & LAN interfaces) and noticed that the "Automatic outbound NAT rule generation" won't work if I set my WAN to a static ip address (of course I also manually specify gw & dns). If the WAN is set to dhcp the automatic outbound NAT works and LAN clients can access the internet.
The only way I could make it work - when using static on WAN- is to manually create the outbound-NAT mapping and set it to manually. I've tried this on 2.0.1 and 2.0.0 many many times and could recreate it always. Is this by design? a bug (doubt it as I couldn't find anything on the web)? Please advice. Thanks in advance!
