Right on Jim! That was it! Oh my, I spent HOURS with this! Thank you! I thought that by going to System/Routing and specifying a default gw was enough. I got more confused due to the fact that, by specifying a NAT mapping & setting it to manually it finally worked (somehow it assigned the defined gateway to the interface).
