google about this,

and on the bios of my pc, there is a "IDE Configuration"

Onboard IDE Operate Mode  [Compatible Mode]
            Combined Mode Option      [Primary P-ATA+S-ATA]

this is my configuration , and i did not find any "legacy mode"

can you please give me more detail about how to change the sata mode ?
