I have had great luck with the IDE à CF addaptors (you want the ones with the power adaptor that uses the 'floppy drive' connector)
I have many m0n0walls and a few pfSense boxes running with these Not sure about the rest of your hardware however, the easy way to tell would be to just load it to an old IDE and test.
