I have had great luck with the IDE à CF addaptors (you want the ones with
the power adaptor that uses the 'floppy drive' connector)

I have many m0n0walls and a few pfSense boxes running with these

Not sure about the rest of your hardware however, the easy way to tell would
be to just load it to an old IDE and test.

Subject: Re: [pfSense] pfsense on endian mini hardware

I am not sure about the old Endian device.
Please check CPU, if it is compatible.
If this is not the problem, you could buy such an IDE-CF-Card device and
just copy the pfsense image on it.
But to be honest, I don't have good experiences with those adapter.
I bought one about a year ago, but never could make it working with pfsense.

No it is the old version, there is a ide hdd. But i want to use an usb stick
or an ide flash.
I tried to copy the image on a usb stick and boot directly but there is also
the same problem.
Its possible that it is not compatible?

Hi,
as I know, the Endian Mini box also support MicroSD.
Have you tried to download latest pfSense image, copy it on SD-card and boot
it directly from SD.

For my Lanner devices, it always works like a charm!

Maik
