Recent threads here in this list: "Debugging a bi-directional speed discrepancy through an OpenVPN tunnel" and "IPsec - how to assess encryption is active?" have all the details. In short: yes, 1.5 Gbps links, OpenVPN 350 Mbps in one direction (I could have lived with that) and about 15 Mbps in the other (I couldn't trace why). With IPsec I got results in the range 500 to 750 Mbps in both directions, and it's clear that with more specific hardware, higher rates might be attained. Now if only I could get my IPv6 traffic take the train along with the IPv4 packets, it'd be perfect. :) -- Meilleures salutations, Met vriendelijke groeten, Best Regards, Olivier Mascia, integral.be/om _______________________________________________ pfSense mailing list https://lists.pfsense.org/mailman/listinfo/list Support the project with Gold! https://pfsense.org/gold
