Friends,
For torture, detention and other human rights abuses, the Kenya Human
Rights Commission (KHRC) will file a representative law-suit in the
British High Court against the British Government on behalf of Mau Mau

Also in 2006 Mark Seal wrote an essay on the murder of a Kenyan white
environmentalist, Joan Root, whom Julia Roberts in true Hollywood
fashion will portray in a movie to be shot in 2008. The Vanity Fair
article captures, to put it bluntly, the racism and contempt that
Kenyan white farmers have for Africans. It also underlines the
distance that Kenya still has to travel in addressing its colonial
